Welcome to The Hotel at Arundel Preserve blog. Opening summer of 2011, we’re excited to be Anne Arundel County’s newest upscale LEED designed boutique hotel. We created this blog to share information about topics including our green initiatives; our Hanover, Maryland neighborhood; and the meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events we will be hosting here at the hotel. We also want this blog to be a place where you can share your comments and ideas about The Hotel at Arundel Preserve.

As an independently owned local business, we will offer our guests exceptional service and personal attention. In the design and construction phases, a lot of work has gone into making The Hotel at Arundel Preserve a warm, welcoming, and comfortable place to vacation, work, or host an event. Throughout design and construction, we’ve also made many decisions that make The Hotel at Arundel Preserve a green hotel.

Designed and built for LEED Silver certification for environmentally sustainable operation, The Hotel at Arundel Preserve is a hotel guests not just enjoy, but feel good about choosing. We take pride in being a modern, planet-friendly hotel, and we hope you will have a memorably great experience and feel proud to be our guest.

Some of our eco-friendly design and construction initiatives include a design that takes advantage of natural light, use of recycled materials in building construction, and energy efficient HVAC and plumbing systems. Our ongoing green initiatives will include a recycling program, energy saving lighting, and environmentally friendly cleaning products.

Our restaurant, Grillfire, will be opening soon and is anticipated to become the area’s primary dining destination. From steaks and seafood to specialty burgers, Grillfire will serve classic American cuisine with a modern flair.

The Hotel at Arundel Preserve will be a premier meeting and conference destination located between Baltimore and Washington, DC. Our location near Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport makes us an ideal location for meetings and conferences. Government facilities at Fort Meade are just a 15-minute drive away. For government and military travelers, The Hotel at Arundel Preserve will be offering government rates that satisfy government per diem requirements.

With over 9,200 total square feet of flexible meeting space including a banquet room for over 300 guests, The Hotel at Arundel Preserve is the perfect place to host green meetings and social events. We offer more space to do business than any other hotel in the Hanover, Maryland, area.
